Anti-CapZ-beta antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CapZ-beta antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CAPZB gene, which encodes capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit beta. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of CapZ-beta has a canonical amino acid length of 272 residues and a protein mass of 30.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CAPB, CAPPB, and CAPZ. Indicated applications for CapZ-beta antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
