Anti-EP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EP1 is a known alias name of the protein prostaglandin E receptor 1, encoded by the PTGER1 gene in humans. This 402-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the kidney. Other synonyms for EP1 include prostaglandin E2 receptor EP1 subtype and PGE receptor, EP1 subtype. Western Blot is a widely used application for the EP1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
