Anti-INPP5F antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase F. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1132 amino acid residues and a mass of 128.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the endosome. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. INPP5F is reported to be an inositol 4-phosphatase, which mainly acts on phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate. Synonyms for this target antigen include MSTPO47, SAC2, hSAC2, phosphatidylinositide phosphatase SAC2, and MSTP007. INPP5F gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some INPP5F antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
