Anti-Pmca1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Pmca1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ATP2B1 gene, which encodes ATPase plasma membrane Ca2+ transporting 1. This protein is known to function in pathways of aging and brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of Pmca1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1220 residues and a protein mass of 134.7 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include MRD66 and PMCA1kb. Indicated applications for Pmca1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
