Anti-S100A15 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the S100A15 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the S100A14 gene, which encodes S100 calcium binding protein A14. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of S100A15 has a canonical amino acid length of 104 residues and a protein mass of 11.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and cervix. S100A15 is a member of the S-100 protein family.
