Anti-PPP6R3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 6 regulatory subunit 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 873 amino acid residues and a mass of 97.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in skeletal muscle, placenta, heart, pancreas, testis, brain, lung, liver, kidney, spleen, thymus, prostate, small intestine, colon and leukocytes. A member of the SAPS protein family, PPP6R3 is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 6 (PP6). Synonyms for this target antigen include PP6R3, SAP190, SAPL, SAPLa, SAPS3, and C11orf23. PPP6R3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PPP6R3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
