Anti-L3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the L3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CERS2 gene, which encodes ceramide synthase 2. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of L3 has a canonical amino acid length of 380 residues and a protein mass of 44.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for L3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
