Anti-CCDC142 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 142. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 750 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.6 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, skeletal muscle, nasopharynx, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 142. CCDC142 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These CCDC142 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
