Anti-NKp44 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NKp44 is a known alias name of the protein natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 2, encoded by the NCR2 gene in humans. This 276-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a cytotoxicity-activating receptor that may contribute to the increased efficiency of activated natural killer (NK) cells to mediate tumor cell lysis. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for NKp44 include CD336, LY95, and NK-p44. Indicated applications for NKp44 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
