Anti-QM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RPL10 gene, which encodes ribosomal protein L10. This protein is known to function in protein translation and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. The human version of QM has a canonical amino acid length of 214 residues and a protein mass of 24.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include AUTSX5, DXS648, and DXS648E.
