Anti-OR10A4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 10 subfamily A member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in the tongue. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR10A4 is known to be involved with axon guidance. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include hP2 olfactory receptor, olfactory receptor OR11-87, olfactory receptor, family 10, subfamily A, member 4 pseudogene, olfactory receptor-like protein JCG5, and olfactory receptor 10A4. OR10A4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR10A4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
