Anti-NFKBIL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NFKB inhibitor like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 381 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in different cell types including monocytes, T-cells, B-cells and hepatocytes. NFKBIL1 is reported to be involved in regulation of innate immune response. The NFKBIL1 gene has been associated with the disease, Rheumatoid arthritis. Synonyms for this target antigen include NFKBIL, NF-kappa-B inhibitor-like protein 1, I-kappa-B-like protein, ikappaBL, inhibitor of kappa B-like protein, and IKBL. NFKBIL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the NFKBIL1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
