Anti-HAUS3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HAUS augmin like complex subunit 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 603 amino acid residues and a mass of 69.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the HAUS3 protein family, HAUS3 is reported to contribute to mitotic spindle assembly, maintenance of centrosome integrity and completion of cytokinesis as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex. HAUS3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the HAUS3 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
