Anti-ERbeta antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ERbeta antigen is another term for the human protein estrogen receptor 2, encoded by the ESR2 gene. The protein is known to function in cell to cell signaling and the regulation of cell growth, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 530 residues and a mass of 59.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is expressed in the adrenal gland. The ERbeta protein is a member of the Nuclear hormone receptor protein family. Other alias names for ERbeta include ESR-BETA. Western Blot is the most common application for the ERbeta antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
