Anti-CBP 35 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CBP 35 is a known alias name of the protein galectin 3, encoded by the LGALS3 gene in humans. This 250-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a galactose-specific lectin, which binds IgE. It is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm, and is secreted of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term GAL3 is another synonym for CBP 35. Some CBP 35 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
