Anti-Cml1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Cml1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NAT8 gene, which encodes N-acetyltransferase 8 (putative). This protein is known to function in the regulation of gene expression, among other biological roles. The human version of Cml1 has a canonical amino acid length of 227 residues and a protein mass of 25.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the small intestine, kidney, and duodenum. Other names for this target antigen include ATase2 and CCNAT.
