Anti-PFK2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PFK2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PFKFB3 gene, which encodes 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3. This protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of PFK2 has a canonical amino acid length of 520 residues and a protein mass of 59.6 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. Other names for this target antigen include IPFK2 and IPFK2. Western Blot is the most common application for the PFK2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
