Anti-stfR antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The stfR antigen is another term for the human protein transferrin receptor, encoded by the TFRC gene. The protein is known to function in pathways of aging and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 760 residues and a mass of 84.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The stfR protein is a member of the Peptidase M28 protein family.
