Anti-X-C motif chemokine ligand 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene XCL1 in humans. The gene may also be known as ATAC, SCM1, SCM1A, LPTN, LTN, and lymphotactin. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 12.5 kilodaltons in mass. The XCL1 marker can be used to identify CD56 Bright Natural Killer Cells and Immature NKT Cells.* Based on gene name, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
