Anti-XAGE2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein X antigen family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 111 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.4 kDa. It is notably expressed in the placenta. It is a member of the GAGE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include GAGED3, XAGE2B, G antigen family D member 3, X antigen family, member 2B, cancer/testis antigen 12.2, and CT12.2. XAGE2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the XAGE2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
