Anti-TSPY2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein testis specific protein Y-linked 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 308 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the Nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) protein family, TSPY2 is suspected to be involved in sperm differentiation and proliferation. Synonyms for this target antigen include testis-specific Y-encoded protein 2 and testis-specific Y-encoded protein Q1. These TSPY2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
