Anti-TRIM15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tripartite motif containing 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 465 amino acid residues and a mass of 52.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family, TRIM15 is known to be involved with innate immune responses and NF-kappaB signaling pathways. Synonyms for this target antigen include tripartite motif-containing protein 15, RING finger protein 93, zinc finger protein 178, zinc finger protein B7, and E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM15. TRIM15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. A number of TRIM15 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
