Anti-TMEM88 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 88. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 159 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the TMEM88 protein family, TMEM88 is reported to inhibit the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. TMEM88 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. ELISA is the most common application for the TMEM88 antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
