Anti-THAP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein THAP domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 228 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.3 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include THAP domain-containing protein 2 and THAP domain containing, apoptosis associated protein 2. THAP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some THAP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
