Anti-PIP3-E antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PIP3-E is a known alias name of the protein interaction protein for cytohesin exchange factors 1, encoded by the IPCEF1 gene in humans. This 437-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the response to oxidative stress, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow, tonsil, and appendix.
