Anti-COMMD9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein COMM domain containing 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 198 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasmic vesicles. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. COMMD9 is believed to modulate activity of cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC166, LINC00610, COMM domain-containing protein 9, and C11orf55. COMMD9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the COMMD9 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
