Anti-CNIH3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cornichon family AMPA receptor auxiliary protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 19 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the Cornichon protein family, CNIH3 is reported to regulate the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs). Synonyms for this target antigen include protein cornichon homolog 3 and cornichon homolog 3. CNIH3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CNIH3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for these antibodies.
