Anti-CGREF1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cell growth regulator with EF-hand domain 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 318 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.5 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. CGREF1 is known to mediate cell-cell adhesion in a calcium-dependent manner (By similarity). Synonyms for this target antigen include cell growth regulator with EF hand domain protein 1, cell growth regulatory gene 11 protein, hydrophobestin, and CGR11. CGREF1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CGREF1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
