Anti-ARMC2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein armadillo repeat containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 867 amino acid residues and a mass of 96.9 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is noted to be expressed at higher level in testis. ARMC2 is known to be required for sperm flagellum axoneme organization and function (By similarity). The ARMC2 gene has been associated with the disease, Spermatogenic failure. Synonyms for this target antigen include armadillo repeat-containing protein 2. ARMC2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These ARMC2 antibodies are widely used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
