Anti-CFL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CFL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CFL1 gene, which encodes cofilin 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and cell division, among other biological roles. The human version of CFL has a canonical amino acid length of 166 residues and a protein mass of 18.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. This target antigen may also be known as HEL-S-15.
