Anti-Copine IV antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Copine IV antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CPNE4 gene, which encodes copine 4. This protein is a suspected calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein that may play a role in calcium-mediated intracellular processes. The human version of Copine IV has a canonical amino acid length of 557 residues and a protein mass of 62.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in the prostate and testis. This target antigen may also be known as copine IV. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the Copine IV antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
