Anti-COMMD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein COMM domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 199 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. COMMD2 is believed to modulate activity of cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC042 and COMM domain-containing protein 2. COMMD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the COMMD2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
