Anti-alp antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target alp is a known alias name of the protein alkaline phosphatase, placental, encoded by the ALPP gene in humans. This 535-amino acid residue protein is reported to be an alkaline phosphatase that can hydrolyze various phosphate compounds. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the placenta. The term ALPI is another synonym for alp. Some alp antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
