Anti-TNFSF15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TNF superfamily member 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 251 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and is secreted. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in endothelial cells. A member of the Tumor necrosis factor protein family, TNFSF15 is a known receptor for TNFRSF25 and TNFRSF6B. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include TL1A, TNLG1B, VEGI, VEGI192A, tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15, and TL1. TNFSF15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
