Anti-IL1F8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IL1F8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IL36B gene, which encodes interleukin 36 beta. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of IL1F8 has a canonical amino acid length of 164 residues and a protein mass of 18.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include FIL1, FIL1-(ETA), and FIL1H. ELISA is the most common application for the IL1F8 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
