Anti-S100A7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein S100 calcium binding protein A7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 101 amino acid residues and a mass of 11.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and is also secreted. A member of the S-100 protein family, it is known to be involved with angiogenesis and epidermis development. Synonyms for this target antigen include S100A7c, protein S100-A7, psoriasin 1, and PSOR1.
