CMAH, or Cytidine monophospho-N-acetylneuraminic acid hydroxylase, pseudogene, is a human gene encoded by CMAHP. It may also be known as: Inactive cytidine monophosphate-N-acetylneuraminic acid hydroxylase; CMP-NeuAc hydroxylase-like protein; Cytidine monophosphate-N-acetylneuraminic acid hydroxylase pseudogene; CSAH. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 501 and a mass of 58.4 kDa. CMAH is a member of the CMP-Neu5Ac hydroxylase family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Frog.
