Anti-ABHD15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein abhydrolase domain containing 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 468 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.8 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the AB hydrolase 4 protein family, ABHD15 is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids. Synonyms for this target antigen include abhydrolase domain-containing protein 15, alpha/beta hydrolase domain-containing protein 15, and protein ABHD15. ABHD15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some ABHD15 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
