Anti-Prostaglandin E synthase 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PTGES3 in humans. The gene may also be known as TEBP, P23, cPGES, Hsp90 co-chaperone, and cytosolic prostaglandin E synthase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 18.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
