Anti-NICN1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein nicolin 1, tubulin polyglutamylase complex subunit. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 213 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include NPCEDRG, PGs5, nicolin 1, tubulin polyglutamylase complex subunit 5, and nicolin-1. NICN1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These NICN1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
