Anti-L-Plastin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target L-Plastin is a known alias name of the protein lymphocyte cytosolic protein 1, encoded by the LCP1 gene in humans. This 627-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell migration and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in intestinal microvilli, hair cell stereocilia, and fibroblast filopodia, in spleen and other lymph node-containing organs. Other synonyms for L-Plastin include CP64, CP64, and HEL-S-37. Indicated applications for L-Plastin antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
