Anti-SAPK2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SAPK2 is a known alias name of the protein mitogen-activated protein kinase 11, encoded by the MAPK11 gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is known to be a serine/threonine kinase that acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain and heart. Other synonyms for SAPK2 include P38B, P38BETA2, and PRKM11. Western Blot is the most common application for the SAPK2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
