Anti-CCK4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CCK4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTK7 gene, which encodes protein tyrosine kinase 7 (inactive). This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of CCK4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1070 residues and a protein mass of 118.4 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CCK4 is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the CCK4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
