Anti-PTP18 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PTP18 antigen is another term for the human protein protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type Z1, encoded by the PTPRZ1 gene. The protein is known to function in neuronal development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 2315 residues and a mass of 254.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. It is expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. The PTP18 protein is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. Other alias names for PTP18 include HPTPZ, HPTPzeta, and PTP-ZETA.
