Anti-UBE2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target UBE2 is a known alias name of the protein ubiquitin like modifier activating enzyme 7, encoded by the UBA7 gene in humans. This 1012-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and innate immune responses, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in a variety of normal and tumor cell types, but is reduced in the lung cancer cell lines. Other synonyms for UBE2 include D8, D8, and UBA1B. Indicated applications for UBE2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
