Anti-SKAP55 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SKAP55 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SKAP1 gene, which encodes src kinase associated phosphoprotein 1. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of SKAP55 has a canonical amino acid length of 359 residues and a protein mass of 41.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include HEL-S-81p and SCAP1. Indicated applications for SKAP55 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
