Anti-cin antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cin antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDXP gene, which encodes pyridoxal phosphatase. This protein is known to function in protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of cin has a canonical amino acid length of 296 residues and a protein mass of 31.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. cin is a member of the HAD-like hydrolase protein superfamily. Indicated applications for cin antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
