Anti-IL-32alpha antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IL-32alpha is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 32, encoded by the IL32 gene in humans. This 234-amino acid residue protein is a reported cytokine that may play a role in innate and adaptive immune responses. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in lymphocytes. Other synonyms for IL-32alpha include IL-32beta and IL-32delta. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for IL-32alpha antibodies.
