Anti-PLC delta1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PLC delta1 is a known alias name of the protein phospholipase C delta 1, encoded by the PLCD1 gene in humans. This 756-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the lung, liver and heart. Other synonyms for PLC delta1 include NDNC3, PLC-III, and 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase delta-1.
