Anti-cspC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cspC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GZMH gene, which encodes granzyme H. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of cspC has a canonical amino acid length of 246 residues and a protein mass of 27.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in the tonsil, spleen, skin, and lymph node. cspC is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family.
